Barefoot Bubbas

Barefoot Bubbas was originally a 1950’s hunting camp and in the 1980’s was used as a pottery studio and real estate office. When the location was purchased in 1990 it was just beginning to be converted to a T-shirt shop. The original name was “Barefoot Bubba’s Bargain Beachwear” but was then shortened to Barefoot Bubba’s. In 1993 the beach shop was built and was gradually turned it into a surf shop.

The biggest little Surf Shop on the South Carolina coast, located just 18 miles south east of Beaufort on Harbor Island. Whatever your surf, beach or summer clothing needs may be, you will find it here. A trip to South Carolina isn't complete until you visit Bubba's.
