For over 30 years, the USCB Festival Series has provided the residents of the Lowcountry with first-class chamber music concerts. The tradition continues in 2010-11 with Edward Arron, Artistic Director and Host, as he and other world renowned artists perform pieces from Beethoven, Shubert, Dvorak, and Mozart.
The Gullah Festival of South Carolina celebrates and recognizes the history, customs, cultures, language and accomplishments of the African Americans of the Lowcountry.
There will be plenty of soft shell crab and other types of food, beverages, classic cars, music, crafts and games for people of all ages! Come enjoy the festival that locals and visitors look forward to all year long!
Friday, May 6 & Saturday, May 7, 2011. Come on down to Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park and enjoy two days of food, music, and fun with a beautiful view of the Beaufort River. Admission is free!
The Beaufort Twilight Run is a running festival for all ages, with a competitive 8K Run and 5K Run, a 5K Fun Walk and a 1/4 mile Kid’s Fun Run. The running events are followed by a post race party for all participants and then an oyster roast, open to everyone. Our goal is to make this a fun, competitive and memorable annual event for Beaufort.
The mission of the Beaufort Film Festival is to enliven our community by fostering and developing a rich appreciation for the art of filmmaking. The purpose of the festival is to recognize aspiring filmmakers of almost every genre to include independent film, music, animation, short and long features, documentaries, and screenwriting.
Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort will host nearly 150,000 of its closest friends and neighbors at the 2011 Beaufort Air Show on April 30th & May 1st.
As Beaufort’s longest running festival and most beloved summertime tradition, the Water Festival is a great way to enjoy July 15-24 of 2011.
