Now, the most difficult thing is picking up the phone to call us.  But please do!  Call as soon as the problem occurs.  We know that accidents happen.  We can take care of things better when we know immediately.  If we’ve got a red wine spill to address, we would rather deal with that immediately than the next day or after you check out.  If a vase or chair breaks, we want to let our owner know right away.  You letting us know helps us uphold our agreements with our South Carolina vacation home owners.

At Seaside Getaways, we understand that accidents happen.  We just want to rectify the situation as quickly as possible and need your help.  If something breaks, just pick up the phone and give us a ring!  We appreciate it!

Imagine the thrill an owner has when he or she returns and finds that the oven is clean and the dishes nicely in place!  They appreciate having guests rent their homes, knowing that the guests will take care of the property.

But, with people in homes, things will break.  Our job is to fix them as expediently as possible.  We have maintenance people available and can call on plumbers, electricians, air conditioning companies as needed.  Usually our first step is to come assess the situation and see if we can remedy it with our maintenance contractor.  Most of the issues (75% of them) can be handled in that manner.  One thing that is extremely helpful is when a guest reports the problem as soon as it is noticed.  If you can alert us right away, that will give us the most amount of time to respond.

My goal is to respond and address the problem the same day it is reported, no later than 24 hours after it is reported.  It is our biggest challenge to do this in the summer with all of our homes occupied.  Our typical day during the summer starts out with a list of items that need addressing…we send our maintenance contractor out by 8:30am.  As the day goes by, more maintenance issues are called into our office.  Then, according to the severity of the issue, we re-route our maintenance contractor.  There will be some things that get pushed off until the next day.  We will keep you informed of our schedule and you do not need to be in the home waiting for the work to be done.  The sooner you call our office, the sooner we can respond and rectify the issue.

Our new studio is located at 1402 King St. in Beaufort SC. Our camera room has tons of backgrounds and props for studio portraits. We even have a separate White Room for babies and kids. Our outdoor posing area is a work in progress. Eric is always designing new and interesting posing areas. And when it’s time to choose your portraits, we have a new conference table and high tech equipment to project your images to you can see every detail!

Paul’s strength is collaborating with designers and art directors to get the best possible images for the assignment. He’s easy to work with and doesn’t carry a big ego to get in the way of producing great work.

He now lives in Beaufort, South Carolina with his wife and several cats. He likes being outdoors, where he enjoys paddling, biking and hiking. He travels frequently and, of course, makes lots of images on the go.
